Nick Brown is a Partner with Pacifica Law Group LLP, where he focuses on assisting public and private clients with complex civil and regulatory litigation, municipal law, public policy, and political matters. He is a former Army JAG attorney who spent six years in the U.S. Attorney’s office in Seattle, and served as the General Counsel and principal legal advisor to Washington Governor Jay Inslee from 2013-17.
In 2014, Mr. Brown was named by Seattle Magazine as one of the year’s Most Influential People for his leading work on Governor Inslee’s moratorium on the use of the death penalty in Washington State.
Mr. Brown is a board member of the Washington Leadership Institute, the Campaign for Equal Justice, and Treehouse. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Morehouse College and earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
